Sponsor A Special Friend

...and be a rescue angel !

Most of the creatures that are rescued by Project Jessie are with their foster home for only a short time.
They are rescued, get whatever appropriate veterinary care they need, are sheltered for awhile and then find their permanent, forever homes.

Some of them however, we discover have special needs.
If we could find a special person with the appropriate experience and willingness to care for them,
they would certainly be put into a home.
But finding that one angel may be a difficult or even impossible task.

In the meantime, they will be kept comfortable and loved in their foster home, for as long as needed.

For these special ones, we have a sponsorship program.
If you choose to be a guardian angel to one of these special friends,
you will receive bi-monthly updates on their progress by email or regular mail - whichever you prefer.

You will also be helping the program tremendously, as these little guys have very specific monthly bills that need to be paid.

You can sign up here as a monthly donor. Sponsor a Friend right now!
In the "comments" section, please indicate which Friend you are sponsoring, and how you would like to be kept up to date (by email or regular mail).

Thank you for being a special angel to one of our longer term Friends!

Murphy
Murphy came into our program on Christmas Eve, 2006.
She and her two feline "sisters" were left without a
home when their owner passed away.

The two younger cats found a home together - but no one wanted poor Murphy because she was an older lady with teeth that needed to be cleaned.

Of course - Project Jessie said we would help this gentle girl!

Her dental work has been done, but because of her age and being very underweight, Murphy needs to be kept on special food.
Her food cost is about $50 per month.

Murphy has blossomed in her foster home and is no longer withdrawn and depressed.
She has even made a new friend - her handsome companion Hubert!

Would you consider becoming her Rescue Angel?

Buster
Doesn't he look like a real charmer?
Buster was only 18 months when Project Jessie was asked to help him. How could it possibly be difficult to place such a young, handsome fellow?

The sad truth soon became apparent - Buster was having recurrent seizures.

The veterinarians have been trying to stabilize Buster and control the seizures with medication - but it has been a long, slow process.

In the meantime his foster family has showered him with love and care. He knows that he is safe and adored, and he will continue to receive the best quality of life that can be provided for him - for as long a period of time as he might have.

Buster's medications are expensive - currently around $80 a month.

Would you consider becoming his Rescue Angel?
