Volunteer Opportunities
There are many ways that you can become involved with the Project Jessie program:
- driving
- fostering
- helping with fundraising
Volunteer drivers are most needed during the day.
You need to have access to a vehicle and hold a valid driver's licence.
Foster homes take care of animals on a short term basis.
You would need to email or phone and discuss your experience, home setting and lifestyle
in order to determine if fostering might be for you, and what types of animals you might be able to foster.
Funds are always needed to help care for the foster dogs and cats.
What type of fundraising could you do? Well - what do you want to do!?!
We have had kids organize benefit concerts, garage sales, penny drives and bakes sales...
We have had adults donate artwork, a portion of sales on their calenders, organize walk-a-dog-a-thons,
collect money from friends and relatives for Project Jessie packages, have people donate to PJ in lieu of gifts...
There are many types of fundraising you could do!
